Teresa Albizu, EdD, MFT

Teresa serves as the Chief Operating Officer for R|A Law. She is a fully bilingual (English/Spanish) results-oriented professional with extensive experience inleadership, executive administration, and fiscal matters. Teresa has held leadership positions in the field of higher education, served as Chief Executive Officer in the non-profit sector, and provides executive coaching services through her consulting firm. Teresa holds a doctoral degree in Leadership from Nova Southeastern University, is a Fellow of the National Hispana Leadership Institute (NHLI) and holds leadership program certificates from Harvard’s Kennedy School of Government and the Center for Creative Leadership (CCL). She maintains adjunct faculty status with The Chicago School and serves on the Board of the Heroes of Tomorrow Foundation. Teresa has been married to her high school sweetheart for 45+ years, has two “kids” who are attorneys, and four grandchildren. On her spare time, she enjoys experimenting in the culinary arts, reading by the beach, and spending time with her family.
